Clamex P-14/10 Flexus is a demountable furniture connector that is fitted into the workpiece within seconds using the groove milling machine Zeta P2. With a minimalist operating opening of 6 mm, the Clamex P-14/10 Flexus is powerfully connected and disconnected just like an eccentric joiner via a lever. The Clamex P-14/10 Flexus was developed to complement the Clamex P-14 and offers the same benefits. These include high aesthetics thanks to the almost hidden connections, the small access bore, mitred connections at different angles and the powerfully connected yet detachable connectors. Unlike the Clamex P-14, the Clamex P-14/10 Flexus does not have rigid positioning pins. They are flexible and have beveled edges on both sides. This allows a workpiece to be inserted between two sides, snapped into place and removed again. Thanks to this feature, extendable shelves or sloping shelves can be inserted after the furniture has already been assembled. As the positioning pins engage when inserted, the extendable shelf is held in the correct position until the workpieces are connected with an Allen key. When connecting a complex piece of furniture with several vertical and horizontal workpieces, the order in which the furniture parts are assembled plays no role. The positioning pins also provide wring resistance when only one connector can be used, such as for a plinth. This eliminates the need to use dowels, as is normally the case with eccentric connectors.
